Entry Level Inside Sales

Amotec is in search of an Entry Level Inside Sales representative for our well-established client's Avon, Ohio location. This is a temp-to-perm position and will report to the senior director of sales.

Entry Level Inside Sales Job Description

  • Work in a team atmosphere handling business sales calls.
  • The team works together on the workload to ensure rapid responses to customer needs whether through email or phone call
  • Prospect for other business opportunities by networking with customers and product vendors
  • Provide exceptional knowledge of product and features to customers.
  • Problem-solving customer issues and find the best solutions
  • Identifies and develops new accounts that desire market entry into innovative technology spaces, while aggressively increasing and securing market share with existing account base
  • Communicate plans and effectively manage resources to build sales volume at store level. Work in conjunction with the Merchandiser to ensure inventory is fully stocked, rotated and presentable at all times.
  • Reviews sales performance by customer and vendor. Through this process, an action plan is put in place to achieve both sales and margin goals
  • Each rep will be responsible for making cold calls per day to grow existing base
  • Meet individual sales goals
  • Work with vendor and customers to create profitable margins
  • Understand customer and vendor requirements. Create action plans to achieve optimal goals
  • Provide basic configurations and integrations consulting
  • Maintain a list of possible clients as well as current clients in the CRM system
  • Have a strong grasp of company tools and functions
  • Other job duties may vary depending on job needs

Entry Level Inside Sales Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (Marketing, Business Management, Communications, Computer Sciences)
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of Sales experience or equivalent within degree schooling
  • Strong sales/marketing background
  • Experience handling inbound/outbound calls
  • Proficient in computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, Internet Browsers)
  • Strong Communication skills - Interpersonal, Presentation and Written
  • Ability to form customer partnerships that exceed expectations and help customers identifies and execute the appropriate strategies for their business success
  • Ability to work independently
  • Demonstration of strong and effective communication skills
  • Ability to identify and solve problems with minimal guidance to minimize disruptions to the business
  • Previous experience in telephone sales or business marketing preferred
  • Comfortable doing B2B networking to acquire new clients
  • Highly motivated, analytical skilled
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, analyzing, and organizational skills
  • Goal Oriented
