Import and Export Coordinator

Amotec is hiring a first-shift Import and Export Coordinator for our client in Miami, Florida.

Import and Export Coordinator Job Description

  • Responsible for entering import customs clearance shipments in the system, some heavy tracking and tracing - phones, answering emails
  • Filing import ISF shipments - opening files, filing, clerical
  • Receives and reviews documentation required to process merchandise through Customs; checks for compliance with specified laws, regulations, organizational goals and standards
  • Prepares entry forms (CF7501 Entry Summary and CF3461 Entry) via ABI system, to import the goods and secure release from Customs
  • Ensures all documents are accurate and/or approved by Customs as required by regulations and standard policy
  • Updates required documents, reports, and information in systems

Import and Export Coordinator Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of Customs regulations 1-2 years with an F.F., LCHB, Steamship or NVOCC
  • Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, using personal initiative to develop mutually beneficial results
  • Detail oriented in managing data, documentation, and inventory
  • A sense of urgency and strong follow up skills
  • All applicants are required to complete a background check and drug screen
  • Bilingual English and Spanish is required

Additional Information:

  • Compensation: $16.00-$18.00/hour
  • Shift: First Shift
