Amotec is hiring a Procurement Coordinator for our client in Port Everglades, Florida.

Procurement Coordinator Job Description

  • Coordinate and manage all purchasing activity of products and supplies, to include developing and maintain a close relationship with the suppliers
  • Monitor suppliers' efficiency to achieve best possible delivery performance as well as negotiate with them to minimize costs
  • Manage all aspects related to material procurement, logistics and expediting
  • Adhere to the Purchase Orders Procedure

Procurement Coordinator Job Requirements

  • 1-3 years of related work experience
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Team Player with ability to also work independently
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Willingness to work 7am-4pm and overtime as needed
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel required
  • Ability to bend, lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds
  • All applicants are required to complete a background check and drug screen

Additional Information:

  • Compensation: $16/hour
  • This position is for Monday to Friday (8-10 hour days)
