Trade Compliance Analyst

Amotec is hiring a Trade Compliance Analyst for our client, a leader in specialty chemicals. This position is first-shift and is located at our client's Wickliffe, Ohio location.

Trade Compliance Analyst Job Responsibilities

The Trade Compliance Analyst is responsible for import and export compliance related to denied party screening and end-user declaration, Free Trade Agreements and Trade Security programs.

Duties include:

  • Apply regulatory knowledge of CFR 15 (Legal Proceedings) and CFR 19 (Customs and Border Protection in Vessels) to analyze, investigate and resolve non-routine problems
  • Assist in developing and updating standard operating procedures
  • Prepare reports supporting the department using either Excel or SAP BOBJ
  • Deny party screening
  • Assists in national, product, and regulatory related research

Trade Compliance Analyst Job Requirements

  • Degree in International Business, International Law or Supply Chain from an accredited institution
  • Bachler's Degree is a Plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple activities
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Collaboration and teamwork skills
  • SAP knowledge and experience in SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) preferred
  • Ability to bend, lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • All applicants are required to complete a background check and drug screen
